Seeking an experienced Consultant for Hāpai Ora. Provide a range of high-quality therapeutic programmes with a strong multi-disciplinary focus. Permanent, part-time (3 days per week), Monday to Friday – flexible hours. Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist for Hāpai Ora, a well-established Early Psychosis service based in Epsom, Auckland. Hāpai Ora, the early psychosis intervention team of Te Toka Tumai (ADHB) offers an innovative and youth‑friendly service to tāngata whai i te ora up to age 30, who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. At a time when a rangatahi (young person) feels most vulnerable, the Hāpai Ora team works together to support our rangatahi and their whānau through their journey in moving forward with their lives. Our team is made up of experienced mental health professionals including Specialist Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses and Occupational Therapists, as well as Cultural Advisors (Māori/Pacifica), Peer and Rainbow Community Support Specialists and an Employment Consultant embedded within the team.
