Infrastructure Procurement Director

Responsibilities Lead NZTA’s infrastructure procurement function across significant infrastructure investment programmes Set the direction for strategic procurement, sourcing and supplier management Shape portfolio, programme and project-level strategies Work with senior leaders, central agencies, suppliers and industry partners Requirements Extensive experience of current procurement best practice in New Zealand and internationally Proven infrastructure sector experience and strong understanding of the infrastructure planning, procurement and delivery lifecycle Proven procurement leadership experience in commercially complex environments Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify, conceptualise and navigate strategic commercial opportunities Deep understanding of government procurement and assurance requirements Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive experience in procurement best practices, particularly within the infrastructure sector, with a strong focus on strategic procurement, supplier management, and government assurance requirements.
