About the Role We are seeking a passionate Māori Registered Nurse to join our Kaiārahi Nāhi Adult Health team at Te Toka Tumai. With a focus on advocacy and the delivery of high-quality care, our Kaiārahi Nāhi use their clinical expertise to manaaki whānau Māori throughout their healthcare journey. You will be part of a supportive Māori Health network dedicated to achieving equitable and positive health outcomes for whānau Māori. Important Skills Practice across a range of specialty areas within Te Toka Tumai. Work with you to determine which service best aligns with your nursing experience, clinical interests, and future aspirations. Commitment to improving health outcomes for whānau Māori. 35 years experience in community and/or hospital settings. Strong relationship‑building skills with both clinical and non‑clinical colleagues. Confidence to contribute in leadership forums. Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with a passion for driving equitable change. Ability to facilitate whakawhanaungatanga and form strong, meaningful connections with whānau that acknowledge, protect, and enhance their mana.
