Job Description Electrician - Dunedin Are you a NZ qualified practical, hands-on Electrician who takes ownership, gets the job done and can confidently work across residential, commercial and industrial projects? Our client is a well-established Dunedin electrical business looking for an experienced, fully registered NZ Electrician who can lead by example. You'll remain firmly on the tools while taking responsibility for jobs, customers and team members. The Role No two days are the same. You'll work across residential, commercial and industrial projects, including solar, home automation, fibre-optic data and specialist work. You will: Stay hands-on and deliver high-quality electrical work Take ownership of jobs from start to finish Lead, guide and work alongside other electricians Build strong relationships with customers Solve problems and make practical decisions on site Coordinate jobs with the scheduling and operations team Set the standard through your workmanship, attitude and reliability About You You're a capable all-rounder who takes pride in your work and doesn't need to be closely managed. You're practical, honest and comfortable taking responsibility when decisions need to be made. You'll bring: Full NZEWRB registration with proven residential, commercial and industrial experience Ideally five or more years' post-qualification experience A hands-on, solutions-focused approach The confidence to take ownership and lead others Strong communication and customer-service skills A genuine, easy-going and team-focused personality New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency Working at Heights and Site Safe certifications are advantageous, but training can be provided.
