Senior / Principal Ecologist – Christchurch Ready to take the next step in your ecology career? WSP is seeking an experienced ecology professional to lead and manage ecological projects in Christchurch, offering the chance to work on both local and global initiatives and make a positive difference in the Earth and Environment sector. Responsibilities Lead and manage ecological projects, from field surveys to data analysis and reporting. Provide expert advice on environmental and ecological matters. Mentor and support junior team members. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and WSP’s high standards. Drive business development and contribute to the growth of our ecology services. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification and ideally 9+ years of professional experience. Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) – Ecology Specialist, or working towards it. Strong technical, analytical, and project‑management skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships at all levels. Passion for delivering pragmatic, client‑centric solutions.
