Job Description
The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Livestock Coordinator to join our Livestock team based in Mataura. Key Responsibilities Include Coordinating livestock bookings and processing schedules. Managing livestock movements and arrival schedules. Monitoring plant capacity and supporting optimal utilisation. Forecasting livestock availability and supply requirements. Providing accurate and timely communication to operational stakeholders. Identifying and resolving scheduling and logistics issues. Supporting the ongoing improvement of livestock coordination processes. Building productive relationships across the business and industry partners. About You You Will Ideally Have Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills. Experience working in a logistics, scheduling, planning, or operational support role. Experience coordinating activities in a fast-paced operational environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to prioritise competing demands. Confidence working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. It Would Be Advantageous If You Also Have Experience with transport, logistics, ERP, or planning systems. Knowledge of livestock production, farming operations, or the rural sector. Understanding of transport coordination and supply chain processes.
