Part-time qualified kaiako

Part time, Permanent, FTTE up to: 0.5 Early learning / kōhanga reo, Certificated teacher Belonging / Mana Whenua, Contribution / Mana Tangata, Communication / Mana Reo, Exploration / Mana Aotūroa, Well-being / Mana Atua a strong sense of belonging for tamariki and whānau. We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and passionate registered kaiako to join our close-knit team, mainly supporting the over 2s. This position offers flexible part-time hours worked between 7:30am and 5:30pm with a minimum of 22 hours, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and can adapt to the changing needs of our centre. We are looking for a kaiako who is warm, energetic, flexible and committed to building meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues. This position has the ability to grow with our increasing roll. The successful applicant will have a genuine passion for early childhood education, a strong understanding of Te Whāriki, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences that support children's growth, development, and wellbeing. They will be a collaborative team player who is willing to contribute across the centre, embraces reflective practice, and values creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
