About this role As a Graduate in Deloitte's Cyber, Privacy & Resilience Team, you'll be playing an instrumental role in safeguarding information systems, optimising data privacy, and bolstering business resilience for our clients. Cyber, Privacy & Resilience is a specialist team that comprises of 30 Cyber Security professionals nationwide and sits within Deloitte's Technology & Transformation business unit. Our team delivers services across three key pillars: Strategy & Governance, Implement & Operate, and Detect & Respond. Your typical day could include Working alongside experienced professionals in conducting security risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and suggesting prevention techniques and ways organisations can minimise risk Aiding in formulating and enforcing security and privacy protocols/policies throughout client organisations Understanding client businesses and providing practical ideas on how they can implement cyber security solutions for their systems, staff and customers Working as a team to assist in developing and implementing robust cyber security solutions for our clients across diverse sectors You are someone with A passion for cyber security with a strong interest in current cyber‑related trends and events. You preferably hold, or are working towards, relevant industry certifications or training and have hands‑on experience with a variety of cyber security systems, solutions, and tools. No previous experience is required. Part‑time positions or internships in cyber, customer service, retail and hospitality are beneficial. Currently completing tertiary education in fields including but not limited to Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Engineering and Cyber Security. Don’t forget to mention if you have completed any cyber‑related certifications outside of your studies, too! Any security or cloud related certifications (AWS, Microsoft, Google etc) are also highly beneficial. Interest in how businesses and organisations function.
