Registered Nurse - Outpatients (parental leave cover)

Registered Nurse – Outpatients Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatients, Rotorua Hospital, Fixed Term, Part‑time (0.7 FTE) covering parental leave. This role is intended for Health NZ employees only. As an RN in Outpatients, you will provide care to patients requiring fracture management, wound care, and minor procedures. You will support orthopaedic, surgical, medical, minor operations, gynaecology and ENT clinics, ensuring patient care is delivered to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Apply splints and casting material for fracture management. Perform specialised wound care management. Assist with minor procedures such as carpal tunnel release, hysteroscopy and skin cancer removal. Support orthopaedic, surgical, medical, minor operations, gynaecology and ENT clinic services. Qualifications & Skills Proficient knowledge in fracture management, wound care, and minor operations. Experience in orthopaedic, surgical, medical, and gynaecology settings. Good computer skills.
