ECE Centre Manager

Busy Bees Whau Valley is seeking an experienced centre manager to lead our passionate team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, values-driven centre where whanaungatanga is at the heart of everything we do. Working closely with your regional manager, you'll have the autonomy to lead, inspire, and drive positive outcomes for tamariki, whānau and kaiako. Salary of $101,120 per annum Generous out-of-ratio allowance to support coaching and leadership Backing of a national network with a supportive local feel Leadership development, mentoring, and ongoing professional growth Access to EAP and a wellbeing-focused culture Discounted childcare fees and free annual flu vaccinations As centre manager, you will: Lead centre performance and develop a high-performing team Ensure quality care and education while maintaining compliance and financial goals Coach and mentor kaiako through Professional Growth Cycles and regular development conversations Oversee enrolments, occupancy, staffing, and rostering Strengthen community relationships and represent the centre within the local community Champion a bicultural curriculum grounded in Te Tiriti o Waitangi You'll: hold a Bachelor of Education (ECE) or equivalent NZQA-approved qualification and current teacher registration bring leadership experience within ECE, strong knowledge of Te Whāriki, Ministry of Education requirements, and a passion for developing people have experience with childcare management systems, enrolments, occupancy and rostering.
