Senior Advisor, Research and Analytics

Senior Advisor, Technical Leadership Fixed term role until December2028. As the Senior Advisor, you will play a key role in providing technical leadership and expert analysis, delivering high‑quality research that informs monetary policy and supports the Bank’s strategic objectives. You will manage a core part of the research programme, ensuring it is impactful, well‑integrated with policy work, collaborative, and visible across the Bank and to external stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead research projects. Mentor staff and provide technical leadership. Strengthen academic and central bank partnerships. Identify fruitful topics for policy‑relevant research. Integrate research findings with policy work. Qualifications Postgraduate degree in economics, finance, or a related analytical field. At least seven years of experience, ideally within a central bank or similar institution. Strong understanding of macroeconomic theory and monetary economics. Familiarity with global and domestic economic issues. Advanced quantitative skills in DSGE modelling, time‑series econometrics, causal inference methods, large administrative datasets, or machine learning. Capacity to lead and manage research projects effectively. Willingness to provide mentorship and guidance to team members. Benefits Flexible working arrangements.
