Independent Contract Driver - Gore at Woolworths Group Limited

Position Overview Independent Contract Driver – Gore (Full‑time onsite position with Woolworths Group Limited, New Zealand). This role is a minimum 3‑year contract providing delivery services for our Woolworths customers. Key Responsibilities Operate your own vehicle to complete delivery runs across three delivery cycles per day, 6 days a week. Ensure all orders are loaded safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety and company safety requirements. Provide exceptional customer service, engaging confidently with stores and customers. Escalate customer issues that cannot be resolved directly to the store or contract managers. Maintain and manage your own workflow and business operations, including hiring and coordinating a relief driver to support safe driving requirements. Qualifications Full clean driver’s licence held for the past two years. Good geographical knowledge of the area. Entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in starting your own business under a recognized brand. Trustworthy, confident, and energetic with strong communication skills. Benefits and Requirements Minimum 3‑year contract with guaranteed base income and potential to earn more per day. Weekly contract payment structure. New vehicle available for purchase at a preferential price; preferential rates also available on selected vehicles. Must purchase a vehicle as a condition of the contract.
