Overview Coordinate the day-to-day operations of a busy student health service, supporting high-quality healthcare delivery and an exceptional student experience. Permanent, full-time opportunity. About the role The Student Health Service is seeking an experienced and highly organised Practice Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our busy multidisciplinary health service. Responsibilities Working closely with the Practice Manager, you will coordinate administrative workflows, manage clinical rosters and appointment scheduling, provide first-line IT support for clinical systems, oversee financial and procurement processes, and support recruitment and onboarding activities. Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (Bachelor's degree desirable). Experience using Indici or a comparable patient management system. Strong understanding of general practice administration and medical terminology. Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new technologies. Experience supporting staff with clinical systems and basic IT troubleshooting. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality. A collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. An understanding of privacy, health and safety, and quality standards within a healthcare environment. Benefits Salary will be in the range of $73,235 to $87,024 per annum based on skills, knowledge and experience. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), based on the Hillcrest Campus. About Us Student Health Service is part of Student Services and provides high-quality, integrated healthcare and wellbeing services to University of Waikato students. The multidisciplinary team delivers general practice healthcare, counselling, mental health support, social work, health promotion, chaplaincy and violence prevention services.
