About the role We are seeking a dynamic individual with both leadership and technical skills to take on the role of Senior Data Specialist in our Data Management Team. You will work with data stewards and owners to ensure that data management processes and governance are in place to facilitate efficient and reliable data collection. The work of the Data Management Team is recognised internationally and informs how we run our daily operations. About you To be successful in this position you will utilise both technical and leadership skills to: Coach and mentor team members and others in the organisation to help them achieve their objectives Communicate, present and document standards, policies and processes Build productive relationships between different business units and external partners Collaborate to ensure governance and quality of the Council's diverse range of datasets Support and advance the information management strategy and the automation centre of excellence Our technology landscape includes core applications such as SQL, ESRI, GIS, SAP, RPA, UiPath, Power Platform and FME.
