Support Worker - Kaitaia

Overview We are seeking skilled and compassionate Support Workers, while continuing to support equitable entry and workforce development. Responsibilities Each Tangata has high‑risk individual care requirements. You will support with all elements of daily living such as palliative care, bowel care, dementia, mental health, and medication management. You will provide safe, respectful, and person‑centred support in people’s homes, mindful of their culture, values, beliefs, routines, and boundaries. Training We provide practical and online training during the first few weeks of employment and offer year‑round training with regular refreshers and new modules to keep skills up to date. You’ll be supported through structured induction, ongoing training, refreshers, and clear development pathways.
