Overview Pay- 16-17 - £8.00 per hour 18+ - £12.71 per hour Your local store is looking for 20hrs per week Stock Assistant - Early Mornings. Every visit to our store is a chance to make someone’s day - and you’ll be right there to make sure it happens, from the first hello to the final thank you. Our Sales Assistants are the foundation of our stores - a brilliant team at the heart of everything we do. With a focus on creating great experiences, they’re the first to lend a helping hand, always ready to offer support and guidance. Whether it’s finding the perfect item or offering a little inspiration, they make sure every customer leaves with exactly what they came for, and a lasting impression that brings them back time and time again. As a delivery specialist, you’ll be one of the first to arrive, and one of the key reasons our stores are ready to welcome customers the moment the doors open. You’ll be hands‑on with deliveries, checking stock, and getting products onto the shop floor. But this isn’t just a backroom role. You’ll also be out front, keeping displays looking their best, updating prices, and making sure everything’s easy to find and ready to go. You’ll be great at juggling tasks and staying organised, keeping our back room running smoothly so that our shop floor can too. And whether a customer needs help finding something or just a friendly face, you’ll be there to make their morning feel that little bit brighter. Shift starts between 5am–6am - so everything’s in place before the first customer walks through the door. What you'll be doing You’ll be customer obsessed – always considering the impact of your actions on the customer experience and striving to deliver joyful experiences in the most effective and thoughtful way. You’ll consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) scores, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming, helpful and memorable experience. Handling stock and the flow of products, including preparing the deliveries ready to be merchandised on to the shopfloor. Breaking down the deliveries, organising product into separate departments and sub‑categories to ensure optimum efficiency when replenishing stock. Organising and maintaining good warehouse controls, ensuring a clean and safe working area. Preparing totes and pallets ready for salvage collection. Whilst your focus will be on delivery, you’ll be trained in all aspects of customer‑facing store life, such as: Tills – Offering a friendly and efficient checkout experience; you’ll check everything’s complete and pack fragile items with care, ensuring every shopper leaves feeling confident their items will arrive home safely. Shop Floor – Helping shoppers find exactly what they’re looking for, and maybe even something they didn’t know they needed; you’ll offer friendly, knowledgeable support that leaves a lasting impression. Hosting – When something isn’t available on the shelves, you’ll step in with confidence, using our iPad systems to place orders for home delivery; you’ll also be trained to deliver our Made to Measure service, helping create bespoke curtains and blinds, and style key areas like our bedding displays.
