About the Role Auckland‑based, permanent, full‑time position within Health NewZealand | Te WhatuOra. We are seeking an organised, proactive Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to develop a career supporting senior leaders. The role will support four Regional Directors – Northern, TeManawaTaki, Central and TeWaipounamu – managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings and travel across regions, and helping them focus on operational priorities. Responsibilities As part of a collaborative team that supports 12 senior leaders across Digital Services, you will: Manage calendars and diaries for assigned directors. Coordinate meetings and travel across multiple regions. Provide backup support across the wider leadership group. Deliver high‑quality, timely support, often involving confidential and sensitive matters. Operate within a national network of Executive Assistants, Team Coordinators and Team Administrators to coordinate and provide professional service delivery across Digital Services. About the Team & Service The role is within the Business Services Support team and reports to the National Business Manager. The team manages key interfaces with Health NewZealand’s corporate and enabling functions, leads continuous improvement and service optimisation, and maintains strong partnerships with HR, Finance, Procurement and Communications. Qualifications & Experience You may have experience in a similar support role and should possess the following: Experience supporting leaders or teams in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Team Coordinator, Senior Administrator or similar role. Excellent calendar management and organisational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Confidence using Microsoft365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and Word. The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across the wider EA team.
