Night Auditor – Rydges Wellington Airport Night Auditor role responsible for overnight team, guest service, and financial operations at the Rydges Wellington Airport hotel. The position ensures all guests are served and all revenue is accurately recorded. Key Responsibilities Anticipate and attend to guests' needs immediately, offering a warm welcome and farewell as they arrive and depart. Check guests in and out efficiently and in line with hotel procedures, processing daily transactions and accounts accurately. Ensure all accommodation, food, beverage and miscellaneous revenue is properly posted, and all payments are correctly recorded. Complete the night audit process thoroughly and accurately, identifying any discrepancies between revenue and payments. Be conversant with the hotel's computer system for night audit functions, and complete first review of tasks in Tyalls. Respond to guest comments and complaints with tact, diplomacy and urgency. Maintain consistent communication with the Night Manager throughout the shift. Work with Housekeeping, Reservations and Maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests. Complete all assigned opening and closing duties and maintain a clean, safe working environment. What You’ll Bring Previous experience in a Front Office, night audit or hotel accounts role (preferred). Strong numerical and administrative accuracy, with confidence using hotel systems for cashiering and audit functions. A genuine passion for guest service and composure to handle unexpected overnight situations. Availability to work night shifts on a part‑time basis. Excellent communication skills and a calm, detail‑focused approach under pressure. Successful candidate must undergo and pass a criminal record check.
