Job Description

Overview We are looking for graduates to join the PwC Private team in Ahuriri/Napier, commencing in February 2027. The team works with clients ranging from family‑owned businesses to well‑known New Zealand brands, helping them solve challenges and achieve long‑term success. As a Graduate, you will work alongside experienced business advisers, building trusted relationships with clients and gaining exposure to compliance and advisory services. Responsibilities Work with business advisers across a variety of compliance and advisory services, including financial analysis, business performance improvement, growth initiatives, accounting and tax compliance, finance technology and business transactions. Use data, automation and AI‑enabled tools to generate insights and support client decision‑making. Build and maintain client relationships while learning commercial judgement, digital capability and relationship‑building skills. Manage competing priorities and diverse industry exposure to develop a strong foundation for a career at PwC. Qualifications Bachelor of Commerce/Business (accounting preferred), Bachelor of Laws or other suitable tertiary qualification. In final year of study or recently graduated. Intention to complete CA ANZ or CPA qualification. Strong academic performance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn. Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities. Demonstrated leadership through work, sport, volunteering or extracurricular activities.
