Current vacancies Back Permanent Full-Time Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) is seeking an enthusiastic and people‑focused Marketing Student Liaison. Are you a people person who can strike up a conversation with anyone? SIT is looking for a Marketing Student Liaison to be the friendly face and trusted voice for prospective students. This is a varied role where you’ll help students explore their study options, answer enquiries, support events, and provide an exceptional first impression of SIT. What you’ll do Respond to student enquiries across phone, email, website and face‑to‑face channels. Become an expert on SIT's programmes, pathways and student support services. Guide prospective students and whānau towards the right study options. Support open days, careers expos, campus tours and recruitment events. Assist with marketing administration and maintain accurate enquiry records. Represent SIT with energy, professionalism and pride. About you | You’re someone who: Communicates confidently and connects easily with people from all walks of life. Thrives in a busy environment and can manage multiple enquiries and priorities. Loves helping people and delivering outstanding customer service. Takes pride in being organised, professional and well presented. Has a positive, can‑do attitude and is always willing to lend a hand. Can quickly build strong product knowledge and confidently promote what SIT has to offer. Is a genuine advocate for student success and a cheerleader for SIT. Experience in customer service, marketing, administration, student recruitment or a similar people‑focused role would be an advantage. Applications close on 30 July 2026.
