About The Job Permanent and fixed‑term FTE (part‑time and full‑time options, ideally 0.6‑0.8 FTE, and casual work considered) Flexible working hours available Comprehensive orientation, induction and ongoing professional development opportunities Competitive remuneration and benefits We are currently seeking Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with New Zealand experience across our Theatre specialties, including General surgery, Urology, Plastics, Gynaecology, Spine, Orthopaedics, Cardiothoracic, Vascular and ENT/Maxillofacial. As a Registered / Enrolled Nurse – Theatre, you will be responsible for scrubbing and circulating for a variety of surgeries, as well as assisting during procedures. Surgical procedures include Cardiothoracic surgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal, General and Paediatrics, Urology, Plastics, Maxillofacial, ENT and Dental, Vascular and Gynaecology. The Opportunity Our Theatre Services team is embedding a new leadership model and has recently introduced leading‑edge surgical technology, such as the da Vinci Xi robotic system, which is now used in general, gynaecology and urological procedures. To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have experience as a Registered / Enrolled Nurse in Theatre, preferably within one of our focus specialties in a New Zealand setting. We also consider candidates with a passion for learning and ongoing improvement. Show a desire to represent and participate in our Infection Prevention and Control and Health and Safety Committees, and/or have an ability to drive quality initiatives. Operate effectively as part of a collaborative team, enhancing cooperation and teamwork. Exhibit clear, professional communication skills and the ability to remain calm and collected in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment. Hold a current New Zealand Nursing Registration and a valid APC.
