About the Role The Gynaecology Care Unit provides culturally safe care for the Waahine of our diverse community, upholding TeTiritioWaitangi and promoting manaakitanga. The unit delivers care for all gynaecological conditions, including early pregnancy loss and abortion. Key Responsibilities Lead the Gynaecology Care Unit and the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit as Charge Nurse Manager. Provide strong clinical and professional leadership, fostering a team that delivers safe, patient‑ and whānau‑focused care. Demonstrate effective communication, time management, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Champion patient‑centred quality initiatives and drive continuous quality improvement. Support local, district, regional and national health system goals through innovative solutions. Essential Requirements NewZealand Nursing Registration. Current Annual Practising Certificate. Minimum5years of experience in an in‑patient nursing environment in NZ. Completed Postgraduate Diploma with ongoing professional development. Demonstrated expertise in setting standards and managing excellence in practice. Ability to coach, mentor, and provide staff support. Proven leadership and staff‑management experience. Demonstrated application of TeTiritioWaitangi in a health care setting. Desirable Clinical experience in Women’s Health. #J-18808-Ljbffr
