Service and Installation Technician

We are seeking a hands‑on and customer‑focused Service Technician to deliver a range of service and maintenance activities for building entrance automation, including installation, repair, emergency breakdown response, and other maintenance services across the Company’s product range. The position is based in Wellington. What You’ll Do Install, repair, and maintain our doors product range. Liaise with customers and our planning team regarding repairs, installations, and site issues. Complete paperwork and documentation in line with quality and timeliness standards. Maintain work tools, PPE, and comply with WHS and company policies at all times. Work flexibly, including callouts, overtime, and out‑of‑hours requirements. Report safety incidents, hazards, and risks via Donesafe, and participate in training, audits, and meetings. What You’ll Bring Experience in building, carpentry, or related trades is desirable. Preferably experienced in service and/or installation roles. Knowledge of the Wellington area is advantageous. Qualified/licensed electrician or fitter and turner; controls experience is a plus. EWP (Scissor Lift) and Forklift licenses preferred. Must hold and maintain a current driver’s licence and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
