Little One's Garden Early Education Centre Auckland ECE Certicated Teacher Full time, Permanent Early learning / kōhanga reo, Certificated teacher Belonging / Mana Whenua, Contribution / Mana Tangata, Communication / Mana Reo, Exploration / Mana Aotūroa, Well-being / Mana Atua Little Ones Garden Early Education is seeking an enthusiastic and professional full-time registered ECE teacher to join our dedicated team. About you You are someone who: Holds a current New Zealand Teaching Registration (or is eligible to teach in New Zealand). Has a sound understanding of child development and sound knowledge of Te Whārikias well as recognises that every child develops at their own pace with unique strengths, interests, and learning needs. Designs and implements creative, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences that extend children's thinking, curiosity, language, and confidence. Understands intentional teaching and creates learning opportunities throughout play, daily routines, and spontaneous moments. Confidently initiates conversations with children, uses rich language, asks open-ended questions, and actively engages children in meaningful play and learning. Demonstrates excellent indoor and outdoor active supervision skills, maintaining awareness of the whole environment while supporting individual children's needs. Has strong situational awareness, proactively identifies and manages potential risks before incidents occur. Demonstrates excellent multitasking skills. Remains calm, organised, and responsive during busy transition times and throughout the day. Demonstrates excellent teamwork, willingly supports colleagues, communicates respectfully, and contributes to a positive, collaborative workplace. Welcomes mentoring, coaching, and professional feedback, and actively reflects on and strengthens teaching practice through continuous learning. Takes initiative, is dependable, and maintains a positive, solution-focused attitude. Is committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism, health and safety, and quality teaching practice.
