As a Road Marker with Fulton Hogan, you'll help keep our roads safe by delivering high-quality marking work across projects and maintenance contracts. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be part of a good crew, trusted to get stuck in, support your teammates, and take real pride in doing the job properly. We'll expect high standards, especially around safety, and in return you'll be part of a team that backs each other and knows how to keep things human. Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities Carry out road marking work across projects and maintenance contracts to a high standard. Monitor paint application rates to make sure work is completed to specification. Operate machinery and tools safely and responsibly, within your training and licence requirements. Spot hazards, follow traffic management requirements, and take part in daily pre‑starts and safe work practices. Support the crew and look for smarter, safer ways to get the job done. Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We're looking for someone with A Full Class 1 driver licence and dangerous goods endorsement. Experience in a roading environment is an advantage. A good understanding of health and safety on the road, or a willingness to learn quickly. A practical, team‑focused approach and comfort with hands‑on outdoor work. A reliable attitude, good work ethic, and pride in doing a solid day's work.
