Software Engineering Intern

You’ll work as part of an engineering team, contributing to products that help healthcare organisations deliver better patient care. Throughout the internship you’ll receive regular feedback, coaching and opportunities to expand your technical skills while gaining valuable commercial software development experience. Responsibilities Design, build and test software features. Write clean, maintainable code. Debug and solve technical problems. Develop APIs and backend services. Work with cloud technologies and modern development tools. Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers. Participate in agile ceremonies including stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives. Requirements You’re currently studying toward a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or another related discipline. You have some experience with Java through university studies, personal projects, hackathons or previous internships. Experience with any of the following is an advantage: JavaScript or TypeScript React or Angular HTML/CSS SQL and databases Git REST APIs AWS or Azure Linux or Bash scripting You enjoy learning new technologies, think critically, communicate well, work effectively with others, take initiative, and are passionate about building quality software. Core Competencies Demonstrates strong capabilities in software development, particularly in Java and modern web technologies, while effectively collaborating within an engineering team to enhance healthcare solutions.
