Key Account Manager – Food Sector (8‑month Fixed‑Term Contract) Location: Auckland City, N. NZ. This full‑time on‑site position offers career growth. Role Overview The contract role covers parental leave from July/August 2026 until February/March 2027. You will work with customers across New Zealand’s dairy and food sectors, stepping into an established portfolio. This strategic, relationship‑focused role involves driving growth through solution selling, building trusted partnerships, and identifying new opportunities to deliver value through AsureQuality’s services and solutions. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow strategic customer relationships across the dairy and food sectors. Drive revenue growth and achieve sales and profitability targets. Lead customer planning, contract negotiations, renewals, and tender processes. Identify and develop new customer partnerships and emerging opportunities. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Maintain strong market awareness of industry trends and regulatory developments. Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in account management, technical sales, or customer relationship management within a B2B environment. Strong industry knowledge within the dairy, food, ingredients, agribusiness, testing, or certification sectors. A technical or science‑based qualification. Proven success building, growing, and managing customer portfolios. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proactive, resilient, and solutions‑focused approach.
