About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Sonographer to join our growing Bay of Plenty team. This is a permanent position and we are open to full‑time and part‑time applicants. In this role, you will provide high‑quality ultrasound imaging services while delivering an exceptional experience for patients, referrers and colleagues. You will be supported by an experienced clinical team and have opportunities to further develop your skills across a broad range of ultrasound examinations. Performing high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations Providing compassionate, patient‑centred care throughout each examination Explaining procedures clearly and ensuring patients feel informed and supported Working collaboratively with radiologists, referrers and clinical colleagues Maintaining accurate patient records and examination documentation Participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities Contributing to a positive team environment focused on excellence and patient outcomes About you Registered with the New Zealand MRTB and holds a current Annual Practising Certificate Demonstrates a strong commitment to high‑quality patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Enjoys working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team Committed to ongoing professional development and continuous learning Brings a positive, adaptable and solutions‑focused approach to work Our core values Patients are our why – We listen to patients, respect their choices, and involve them in decisions about their imaging and care.
