We are recruiting on behalf of one of New Zealand's leading construction materials companies for an experienced Construction Customer Service Coordinator . What's On Offer Immediate start Temp-to-permanent opportunity Join a well‑established industry leader Supportive and experienced team Full training on company systems Long‑term career opportunities About The Role You’ll be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring concrete orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. You’ll work closely with contractors, project managers, dispatchers, batching plants, and drivers to keep projects running smoothly. No two days are the same, so you’ll need to think on your feet, communicate confidently, and manage changing priorities. Hours of Work Operational hours are 6:00 am - 5:00 pm , with shifts rostered between: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm 8:00 am - 4:30 pm 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Saturday work is required on a rostered basis. Your Responsibilities Process customer orders accurately via phone and email. Coordinate concrete deliveries with dispatch and production teams. Liaise with contractors, project managers, drivers, and internal departments. Respond to customer enquiries and resolve delivery or scheduling issues. Update job information accurately in company systems. Ensure orders are processed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Build strong relationships with repeat customers and site contacts. About You To be successful in this role, you will have Experience in the concrete, construction, civil, building materials, transport, logistics, or manufacturing industry. Experience dealing with contractors, builders, project managers, site supervisors, or trade customers. Strong administration and order processing experience. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to manage multiple stakeholders. High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly. A proactive, organised, and team‑focused attitude.
