Registered Nurse – Haematology Day Stay – Middlemore Hospital – Permanent Part Time (Monday–Friday). About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Registered Nurse to join our Haematology Day Stay unit at Middlemore Hospital. The unit offers expertise in the clinical management of malignant and non‑malignant diseases of the blood. It is a specialised, challenging and rewarding area to work in. Key nursing skills required Patient assessment (in‑person and over the phone) Chemo administration, symptom control and management Nurse‑led venesection clinics Administration of blood products Assistance with bone marrow biopsy Patient education Essential requirements Registered Nurse with current NCNZ Annual Practising Certificate 2+ years recent acute post‑registration experience in a relevant clinical environment in NZ Desired Cytotoxic experience and certification Cannulation and IV administration experience Management of port‑a‑cath and other CVADs Experience in cancer nursing Experience working in an ambulatory care environment Why Join Us?
