Position Overview We are looking for a new member of the Peer Support Team to work in the community with whānau on their journey of recovery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lived experience and be able to provide peer‑led support. Working Conditions Full‑time position based in our head office in Ahuriri. Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00–4:30 pm. Key Responsibilities Engage effectively with whānau who require support. Leverage peer support understanding and draw from own experience. Role model exceptional professionalism and set appropriate boundaries with staff and whānau. Work in challenging situations where you can make a difference. Collaborate within a team and operate from a bicultural perspective. Qualifications & Requirements Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks. Minimum qualification Health & Wellbeing (Mental Health) Level 4 is essential. Hold a clean, current full drivers' licence. Strong understanding of cultural diversity, particularly our commitment to Māori and Pasifika. Commitment to supporting Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equitable outcomes for whānau. Understanding of Te Whare Tapa Wha, Hua Oranga, Te Powhiri Poutama within a peer‑led space. #J-18808-Ljbffr
