Job Description As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be an integral part of our team, dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine passion for providing outstanding service will enhance the overall dining atmosphere. Responsibilities Greeting guests warmly and professionally as they arrive Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely manner Clearing tables, resetting and maintaining a clean dining area Handling guest queries, requests, and complaints with care Processing payments using POS systems and handling cash/card transactions Restocking supplies and ensuring stations are stocked and tidy Following hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures at all times Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively as part of a team Setting up and packing down service areas as required Communicating any dietary needs or guest concerns to kitchen team Completing daily cleaning and closing checklists Flexibility is crucial for this role, as you will be rostered across a 7‑day rotating schedule, with shifts starting as early as 6:00 am and finishing late at night. This is a part‑time position (minimum 12 hours per week). Qualifications Previous experience in food and beverage, bar, barista or hotel service roles is preferred but not essential A friendly and professional attitude with a passion for hospitality and delivering great guest experiences Comfortable operating coffee machines or working behind a bar (training will also be provided) A team player who can adapt to a fast paced and dynamic environment Strong communication and time management skills Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and lift/carry light trays or equipment Flexibility to work a rotating 7 day roster with shifts that may start as early as 6 am or finish late at night Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practicesNZ citizenship, permanent residency, or a current and valid work visa/permit.
