If you answered yes, we have the perfect role for you. You will work weekdays from 8am – 4pm (no weekends unless you want to attend after‑hour events which are usually fun). The role offers $23.97 – $29.68 per hour plus allowance, and is located in Henderson, West Auckland. Spectrum Care Trust provides a vocational support service in Auckland for people with intellectual disabilities. Many of these people are young, vibrant and ready to find their place in the world, and your job will be to help them do that. We are seeking an experienced and talented Facilitator to provide leadership to our team. Ideally you will have experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and be ready to take your career to the next level in this new and exciting role. Responsibilities Organise the day‑to‑day functioning of the service. Combine direct support with supervisory and administrative roles. Support the team in running their person‑centred, community‑focused activities and facilitate any troubleshooting that may be required. Act as the key liaison with families, transition providers and other key partners. Plan and organise efficiently, ensuring the success of the role. Communicate effectively and supportively with colleagues and the people you support. Handle reporting and administration tasks. Key Qualifications & Experience Committed to supporting people with disabilities to live great lives. Comfortable with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and toileting if necessary. Excellent, clear, understandable verbal and written English is a pre‑requisite. Ideal Candidate Interest in attaining a Community Support Worker Level Three or above qualification – we can support you to achieve this while you work. Reliability, commitment and passion for working with people. A full New Zealand driver's licence. Ability to pass a New Zealand police check. Competence with computers, including Word, Internet Explorer and email.
