About the role Peryer Construction is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead its small finance function and oversee end‑to‑end financial operations. This hands‑on senior role includes leadership responsibility, system ownership and close collaboration with Directors and project teams. Key tasks & responsibilities Lead and support the Accounts Assistant Manage accounts payable and receivable, retentions, fixed assets and supplier relationships Maintain Xero and Smoothx data integrity and Procore integrations; keep financial master data and SOPs up to date Perform bank reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end preparation; provide timely financial reporting and analysis to Directors Process payroll for all employees and manage statutory compliance: GST, PAYE, RWT, ACC, provisional tax and IRD filings Monitor cashflow, advise Directors of financial risks and support project teams with Procore/Xero mapping Improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls and maintain confidentiality What we offer A varied, senior finance role with clear leadership and system‑ownership responsibilities.
