Salary of $101,120 per annum Generous out-of-ratio allowance to focus on leadership and team development Support from a trusted national network with a strong local focus Access to EAP and a culture that prioritises wellbeing Ongoing leadership development, coaching, and mentoring opportunities Discounted childcare fees and free annual flu vaccinations As centre manager, your role is to: Lead centre performance and foster a positive, high-performing team culture Ensure high-quality care and education while maintaining compliance standards Coach and mentor kaiako through Professional Growth Cycles and regular development conversations Oversee enrolments, occupancy, staffing, and rostering to achieve centre goals Build strong relationships within the local community and promote the centre's reputation Champion a bicultural curriculum grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi You will: Hold a Bachelor of Education (ECE) or equivalent NZQA-approved qualification and current teacher registration Have proven leadership experience within the ECE sector Be passionate about coaching, mentoring, and developing others Have strong knowledge of Te Whāriki, MOE regulations, licensing criteria, and Teaching Council requirements Be experienced with childcare management systems, occupancy, and rostering Be committed to integrating Te Reo Māori and tikanga into everyday practice If you're a passionate leader who thrives on building strong relationships, developing teams, and creating a sense of belonging, we'd love to hear from you.
