Overview Independent Contract Driver – Oamaru, New Zealand. Minimum 3 year contract providing delivery services for Woolworths customers. Owner-operator model with a stable, profitable business and growth potential. Responsibilities Work closely with the Woolworths eCommerce Logistics team to complete online deliveries. Act as the key liaison between Woolworths and our customers, providing exceptional customer service. Manage your own workflow, develop and grow your business to support a busy operation. Operate 6 days a week, delivering across 3 delivery cycles per day. Maintain an additional relief driver to support safe driving requirements (and an opportunity for a partner). Engage confidently with stores and diverse customers. Ensure orders are loaded into the vehicle safely, efficiently and in compliance with food and safety requirements. Escalate customer issues that cannot be resolved directly to store or contract managers. Manage your own team; recruit staff and run your business effectively. Requirements Full, clean driver’s licence held for the last two years. Good knowledge of the local geography. Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to start your own business. Ability and intention to purchase a vehicle for the role. Trustworthy, confident and energetic, with a strong commitment to customer service.
