Service Manager – Auckland District Court We are seeking a leader to fill a Service Manager vacancy in the Criminal jurisdiction at the Auckland District Court on a permanent, full‑time basis. This role reports to the Manager, Justice Services (Auckland Central), Criminal section. The Service Manager’s primary focus is to coach and support employees to increase capability and build a culture of high performance. The role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of services to improve operational quality and consistency across their team and the wider Service Delivery Area. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Coach and support employees to build high performance culture. Oversee delivery of services to improve operational quality and consistency. Build and maintain effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders. Drive standardisation, consistency and accountability under values of respect, integrity, service and excellence. Qualifications & Skills To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills, knowledge and experience: Operational management experience. Leadership skills to motivate and lead staff, achieve targets and understand their contribution to the bigger picture. Good track record in supporting and implementing changes to business and work processes. Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders. Resilience and confidence in a public‑facing role. Well‑developed interpersonal skills to establish good stakeholder relationships and motivate others.
