Registered Nurse (Recovery Team) – West Community Mental Health Services 3x Permanent, full-time and part-time roles Monday to Friday Based in Henderson Whatu Ora Waitemata serves the communities of North and West Auckland and the Rodney District which is dedicated to the delivery of public health care. We are committed to the best care for everyone – to the patient, their family/whanau, the community and iwi, and the healthcare workforce. We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to be a part of our Recovery Team and to work with clients in an acute community setting. The successful applicant will work in an acute component of our Community team. Essential Experience Adult Mental Health Nursing NZ registration (comp), with a Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Current APC Full Drivers License Achieved RN level 2 – Competent Healthcare portfolio Skills Hold an understanding of the sociocultural determinants that impact health service delivery, particularly in relation to the provision of equitable and accessible service. Understanding of informed consent, consumer rights and related issues. Sound assessment, history taking, diagnostic reasoning and pharmacology knowledge. Proven skills and expertise in utilising therapeutic interventions with tangata whai i te ora and their whānau. Experienced and skilful in establishing and maintaining professional, collaborative relationships. Applies contemporary evidence to practice. Demonstrated ability to share clinical knowledge creatively and effectively. Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
