\n Senior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services\n

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong technical design skills and a multi‑disciplinary mindset. This role involves managing mechanical work packages within the Building Services segment and working with diverse clients on a wide range of projects across the AsiaPacific.

Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Manage mechanical work packages within the Building Services segment.
  • \n
  • Deliver mechanical HVAC design from inception through detailed design, construction monitoring, and practical completion, including fine‑tuning.
  • \n
  • Use load estimation tools such as Carrier E‑20 or IES to inform design.
  • \n
  • Prepare and review design drawings and documentation using design communication software such as Bluebeam and Revit.
  • \n
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant international standards and industry guidance, including CIBSE or ASHRAE, and, where applicable, NewZealand building codes and seismic design requirements.
  • \n
  • Collaborate effectively within project teams, demonstrating a proactive and positive problem‑solving approach.
  • \n
  • Develop the technical expertise of junior mechanical engineers to support project delivery.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Minimum 5–6years of experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air‑Conditioning.
  • \n
  • At least 2–3years in a consulting role.
  • \n
  • Proven capability in developing and delivering end‑to‑end mechanical HVAC design.
  • \n
  • Strong technical design skills and a multi‑disciplinary mindset.
  • \n
  • Experience with load estimation tools (Carrier E‑20, IES) and design communication software (Bluebeam, Revit).
  • \n
  • Knowledge of international standards for mechanical HVAC building services and recognised industry guidance (CIBSE, ASHRAE).
  • \n
  • Familiarity with NewZealand building codes and seismic design requirements (if consulting background is in NZ).
  • \n
