About the role Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions across New Zealand. We are looking for a full‑time Parcel Sorter to join our Hastings team. The role involves safely handling freight, achieving delivery targets, and ensuring an on‑time, damage‑free service. Responsibilities Load and unload all freight safely and securely. Achieve branch operational objectives by scanning freight efficiently. Ensure documentation accompanying freight is complete. Operate all equipment in a safe and proficient manner. Act on bay labels, re‑stack damaged freight, and protect leaking product. Maintain good working relationships and communicate effectively within the team environment. Qualifications Prior work experience in the freight industry. Strong health and safety focus. OSH approved forklift certification. F‑endorsed licence (preferred but not essential). Prior long‑fork experience (preferred but not essential). Understanding of dangerous goods laws (preferred but not essential). Physically fit and capable of handling freight duties. Excellent team coordination skills.
