We are looking for a commercially driven Digital Energy Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of our Digital Energy portfolio across New Zealand. This is a strategic sales and business development role focused on expanding market share, increasing solution adoption, and strengthening Schneider Electric's presence across the building, energy and infrastructure sectors. You will work closely with channel partners, consultants, contractors, system integrators, builders and end users to identify opportunities, influence project outcomes, and drive the adoption of Schneider Electric's Digital Energy and Digital Power solutions. What You'll Be Doing Drive growth, market penetration and revenue across Schneider Electric's Digital Energy portfolio in New Zealand. Develop new business opportunities while growing existing customer and partner relationships. Expand and strengthen the EcoXpert ecosystem. Increase the attachment of Digital Energy and Digital Power solutions through channel partners, panel builders and strategic projects. Engage early in project opportunities, influencing specifications and solution design throughout the project lifecycle. Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, integrators, builders and end users to drive long‑term growth. Identify and develop strategic accounts across both building and non‑building segments. Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical and services teams to deliver customer‑focused outcomes and support Schneider Electric's Digital Energy strategy. About You You are a proactive business development professional with a passion for building relationships, creating opportunities and driving commercial growth. You bring strong market knowledge, a customer‑first mindset, and the ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience in business development, sales or account management, ideally within the energy, electrical, building technology, automation or infrastructure sectors. A strong understanding of the New Zealand market and key industry stakeholders. Demonstrated success in growing revenue through both direct and indirect sales channels. Experience working within partner ecosystems, including contractors, panel builders, system integrators or consulting engineers. Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Commercial acumen combined with a consultative, solution‑selling approach. The ability to quickly develop expertise in Digital Energy solutions and clearly communicate their value to customers. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. A self‑driven, proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work autonomously. Why Schneider Electric?
