Job Description
Fixed term role ending February 2027 to support Giving Day 2026 through donor data management, reporting, donation processing, and alumni engagement activities. Join us in this important role based in our Alumni and Development Office where you'll play a key role in the success of Giving Day 2026 by ensuring the University's alumni and donor database is accurate, campaign-ready, and effectively supports fundraising and engagement activities. Working closely with colleagues across the University, you'll help deliver a positive donor experience through high-quality data management, reporting, donation processing, and stewardship support. This fixed term role ending February 2027 is based at our Lincoln Campus and works 18.75 hours per week (0.5 FTE). The salary for this position is fixed $57,882 per annum (pro rata to part-time hours), depending on experience. Responsibilities Maintaining accurate and up-to-date alumni and donor records within the Potentiality database Creating targeted data selections and audience segments for fundraising and engagement campaigns Managing data cleansing activities to improve data quality and campaign effectiveness Processing, coding, reconciling, and recording donations accurately Coordinating donor receipting, acknowledgements, and follow-up activities Producing timely reports and insights to support Giving Day planning, delivery, and evaluation Qualifications A relevant tertiary qualification, diploma, or equivalent experience in administration, business, information management, marketing, communications, fundraising, or a related field Experience working with CRM, alumni, donor, or fundraising databases while maintaining high-quality data standards Proven ability to produce reports, data selections, and insights to support campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities i>i> Experience processing transactions and maintaining accurate records with strong attention to detail Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines A collaborative, customer-focused approach, with a commitment to Lincoln University's values and an inclusive, positive working culture Benefits Professional development & mentorship to grow your career Free, confidential wellbeing support through Clearhead (EAP) Southern Cross employee benefits Access to on‑campus gym with discounted membership On‑site early childhood centre with staff discounts A vibrant campus lifestyle with cafés, green spaces, and a sense of community We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community where everyone feels valued and supported, and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
