Position Independent Contract Driver – Queenstown (Woolworths Group Limited, Auckland City, N, NZ) Job Overview This full‑time on‑site position offers a minimum 3‑year contract to provide the delivery function for our valued Woolworths customers. As an owner‑operator, you will run your own stable and profitable business with a strong growth trajectory, delivering online orders across three delivery cycles per day and managing your own workflow and staff. Responsibilities Provide delivery service across 3 delivery cycles per day, operating 6 days a week. Manage your own workflow and develop your own business to support the busy operation. Engage confidently with stores and diverse customers, providing exceptional service and accurate deliveries on time. Load orders into the vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to all food and safety requirements. Escalate customer issues and concerns that cannot be resolved directly to the store or contract managers. Manage your own team, bring staff on board, and operate your own business effectively. Operate from the Queenstown Woolworths facility and maintain a reliable relief driver for safe driving requirements. Adhere to weekly contract payment structure and guaranteed base income, with the potential to earn more per day. Qualifications A full clean driver’s licence held for the past two years. Good geographical knowledge of the Queenstown area. Trustworthy, confident, energetic, and enthusiastic about customer service. Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to start your own business with the security of a well‑known brand. Strong communication skills and ability to operate independently. Ready to purchase a vehicle—must purchase a vehicle to operate the contract. Benefits & Opportunities Minimum 3‑year contract with a guaranteed base income.
