Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Programme Lead – Health NZ Waitematā and Te Toka Tumai Full‑time role, fixed term to 30June2026. 80 hours per fortnight. Based in Takapuna. About the Role We are currently recruiting for an Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Programme Lead. This role will work with mental health and addictions clinical teams promoting engagement with Non‑Government Organisations (NGO) partners who provide employment support for tāngata whai i te ora in the adult age group. This role is responsible for working collaboratively with others to plan, develop, deliver and the programme. This role will provide an opportunity for you to act on your belief in the value of employment and training in recovery, as you apply your skills in providing programme leadership and coordination including support, education, relationship building and liaison, reporting and practical assistance. This role will be based in Health NZ Waitematā however will reach across both the Waitematā and Te Toka Tumai districts and into specialist clinical teams in Adult, Māori, Pacific mental health and addictions services and will also link with the NGO Employment Consultants based in these teams. Key Responsibilities Promote engagement with NGOs that provide employment support for tāngata whai i te ora. Work collaboratively with mental health and addictions clinical teams to plan, develop, and deliver the programme. Provide programme leadership and coordination including support, education, relationship building, liaison, reporting and practical assistance. Act on belief in the value of employment and training in recovery. Link with NGO Employment Consultants based in the clinical teams. Qualifications A working knowledge of the IPS model. A tertiary qualification in a relevant health field or equivalent study or extensive experience in IPS or employment support. Experience working with diverse teams.
