We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trust Account Assistantto support the day-to-day management of our trust account. Reporting to the Trust Account Team Lead, you'll help ensure trust account transactions, settlements and compliance activities are delivered accurately and efficiently.
About the Role
Key responsibilities:
- Processing trust account transactions, client payments and receipting
- Supporting residential and commercial property settlements
- Managing trust account administration, including IBDs, dormant balances, RWT certificates and interest calculations
- Assisting with billing, reporting and compliance activities
- Providing support across the wider Finance team as required
About You
You'll be organised, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters.
Ideally you will bring:
- Experience in accounts, finance or trust accounting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Confidence using Excel and learning new systems (Actionstep experience would be advantageous)
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering great service
Trust accounting experience within a legal or professional services environment would be an advantage, but we also welcome applications from candidates with strong accounting experience who are keen to learn.
