Job Description

Carfe is a leading automotive detailing and vehicle grooming business providing premium vehicle presentation services to private customers, dealerships, fleet operators and commercial clients. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the day-to-day management of the business and work closely with the Managing Director to drive operational performance, financial success and future business growth.

About the Role
\n Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the General Manager is responsible for
\n the overall management of Carfe's operations, financial performance and people.
\n This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for leading the Operations
\n Manager and wider operational team, ensuring the efficient delivery of services while
\n supporting the continued growth and success of the business.
\n The role involves strategic planning, financial management, workforce leadership,
\n business improvement, customer relationship management and ensuring compliance
\n with all relevant legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
\n - Lead the day-to-day management and operation of the business.
\n - Develop, implement and review strategic business and operational plans.
\n - Prepare and manage operational budgets, forecasts and business
\n performance reports.
\n - Monitor revenue, profitability, labour costs and operational expenditure.
\n - Analyse business performance and identify opportunities to improve
\n productivity, efficiency and profitability.
\n - Lead and support the Operations Manager and operational staff to achieve
\n business objectives.
\n - Manage workforce planning, recruitment, training, performance management
\n and staff development.
\n - Develop and implement operational policies, systems and continuous
\n improvement initiatives.
\n - Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
\n - Develop and implement customer service, marketing and business
\n development initiatives.
\n - Monitor operational performance, quality standards and customer satisfaction.
\n - Ensure compliance with employment, health and safety, privacy and all other
\n relevant legislative requirements.
\n - Prepare regular operational, financial and workforce reports for the Managing
\n Director and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
About You
\n To be successful in this role you will have:
\n - A relevant Bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or at least four year's
\n relevant management experience.
\n - Demonstrated experience managing business operations, budgets and
\n financial performance.
\n - Strong leadership and people management skills, including experience
\n leading managers and operational teams.
\n - Experience with workforce planning, recruitment, performance management
\n and staff development.
\n - Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to analyse financial and
\n operational information.
\n - Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
\n - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n - A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and continuous
\n business improvement.
What We Offer
\n - Permanent full-time employment.
\n - Minimum 40 hours per week worked Tuesday to Saturday.
\n - Annual salary of $83,200.
