Southpac Trucks is New Zealand’s authorised distributor for Kenworth and DAF trucks, with a national branch network supporting customers across New Zealand.

\n

Our Auckland Parts Distribution Centre is the hub of our national parts supply operation, and we are looking for a strong Warehouse Manager to lead the team and drive operational performance.

\n

This is not a floor-based warehouse role. We are looking for an experienced operations and logistics leader who can lead through Supervisors, set clear expectations, build accountability, and ensure the warehouse runs efficiently, accurately, and safely.

About the Role\n

Reporting to the National Parts Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the Auckland Parts Distribution Centre, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, freight, safety, KPIs, and team culture.

\n

You will lead through the Warehouse Supervisors and 2IC Supervisor, supporting them to manage day-to-day floor coordination while you focus on the wider operation, systems, performance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities\n

Lead the overall Auckland PDC operation across inbound, storage, inventory, picking, packing, and dispatch.

\n

Drive stock accuracy, cycle counting, bin location integrity, and inventory control.

\n

Monitor workflow, capacity, freight performance, service levels, and operational KPIs.

\n

Lead, support, and hold the Warehouse Supervisors and 2IC Supervisor accountable.

\n

Build a positive, safe, accountable, and high-performing warehouse culture.

\n

Identify and implement improvements to warehouse layout, processes, systems, and efficiency.

\n

Maintain strong health and safety standards across the operation.

About You\n

You will be a confident warehouse, logistics, or operations leader with strong people management skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach.

\n

You will bring:

\n
    \n
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations management experience.
  • \n
  • Experience leading through supervisors, team leaders, or 2ICs.
  • \n
  • Strong leadership, communication, and accountability skills.
  • \n
  • Experience in a high-volume, accuracy-focused warehouse environment.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of stock control, cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and warehouse flow.
  • \n
  • Confidence working with KPIs, reporting, systems, and operational data.
  • \n
  • A strong commitment to health and safety.
  • \n
  • Experience in automotive, transport, parts distribution, industrial, or similar environments would be an advantage.
  • \n
What We Offer\n

A key leadership role within Southpac’s national parts distribution operation.

\n

The opportunity to genuinely influence and improve warehouse performance.

\n

A stable, well-established New Zealand business.

\n

Competitive remuneration, including a discretionary KPI-based bonus structure.
