About the role:\n
    \n
  • The Site Manager assumes overall accountability for the leadership and coordination of the site team.
  • \n
  • As the principal company representative on site, the Site Manager is responsible for ensuring all safety, quality, programme, and cost objectives are achieved throughout the life of the project, including the maintenance period.
  • \n
  • As a key member of the delivery team, the Site Manager leads by example, providing day‑to‑day guidance, support, and mentoring to team members while contributing to successful project delivery and commercial performance.
  • \n
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of contract documentation, construction methodologies, and budget management, while ensuring robust quality control and risk management processes are maintained on site.
  • \n
  • Proven ability to effectively manage programme, cost, quality, subcontractors, and stakeholder relationships across complex construction projects.
  • \n
  • Champion a positive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.

You will have:

    \n
  • Experience as a Site Manager in NZ working on projects ranging from $10 m+.
  • \n
  • MOE, MOJ and/or Data Centre project experience is desirable.
  • \n
  • A relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field or a recognised certification or qualification in Carpentry, such as a National Certificate in Carpentry or an equivalent trade certification.
  • \n
  • Successful track record in leadership positions with the ability to motivate team members and drive success is paramount.
  • \n
  • Proven experience delivering complex fit‑out projects is essential.
