About the role:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Year level is flexible and will be matched to the successful candidate's strengths and experience (the school has some flexibility to shuffle around the team accordingly)
- You'll teach the New Zealand Curriculum, but you'll be teaching primarily in te reo Maori, Tongan or Samoan (whichever of these languages you speak)
- South Auckland location - Manukau general region.
- Commencing in the new year. 2027 - Term 1
About you:
- Bilingual - either te reo Maori, Samoan, or Tongan
- Qualified and Registered teacher
- Currently in New Zealand with the right to work
- Is passionate about bilingual education and culturally responsive teaching
- Builds positive relationships with students, whanau, and colleagues
- Creates engaging, inclusive learning environments where students feel valued and supported
- Well versed in the New Zealand Curriculum
- Is reflective, collaborative, and committed to ongoing professional learning
