In this role, you’ll supervise aquatic activities, ensuring the public can enjoy the Napier Aquatic Network safely. Apply today and be part of a team that keeps the community moving! The Opportunity Supervise aquatic activities to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors. Maintain life‑saving skills and emergency response readiness. Perform water‑quality testing and monitor pool operations. Ensure clean and well‑stocked facilities to provide a positive experience for all users. Contribute to a strong and supportive team, focused on excellence in service and safety. Engage with the community to build positive relationships with public users, clubs, and organisations. About You Experience in a customer service setting Friendly, team‑player. A high level of personal fitness to keep up with a role that requires manual handling and standing/walking Strong swimmer who is able to pass swim testing and maintain swimming fitness to carry out rescues A National Pool Lifeguard Certificate and/or First Aid Certification is desirable but not essential. You will be working at Ocean Spa on Napier’s Marine Parade. $27.04 -$28.19 per hour, depending on experience level.
